Relationship and Disclosure

This programme, operated under the Takween Connect name, is delivered by Takween Digital Services. Takween Digital Services designs, builds and manages every project; Takween Connect is the name this specific initiative for Muslim-owned businesses operates under. This isn’t hidden in the small print — it’s stated here, in the footer of every page, and in a short line near the application form.
We accept only 30% of applications.

02

Application & Selection Process

Takween Connect is a limited-capacity programme, and submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance.

Applications are considered based on programme suitability and available capacity. Due to demand, we may contact only applicants selected to proceed.

Applicants who are not contacted may submit a new application during a future intake, where available.

03

Exact Free-Package Scope

The free starter website includes up to 5 pages, a mobile-responsive design, essential business information, service details, and a contact form and/or WhatsApp contact button. Basic on-page SEO and performance optimisation are also included. See What’s Included on the landing page for the full breakdown.

Development cost: £0.

04

Revision Limits

Up to 2 rounds of revisions are included once the initial build is ready for review. Requests beyond that, or requests that go beyond the agreed scope, are treated as future work and quoted separately.

05

Client Content Responsibilities

You’re responsible for providing the text, images, logo and any other content the site needs, promptly enough to keep the project moving. Delays in supplying content will delay the build and, where relevant, the close-out window described below.

06

Domain and Hosting Responsibilities

Your business is responsible for purchasing and maintaining its own domain name and hosting. The starter website build is free; domain and hosting are a separate, ongoing cost you pay directly to your chosen provider. The team can guide you toward a suitable option if asked.

07

Third-Party Costs

Any paid plugin, licence, stock asset or other third-party service required or requested beyond the standard build is a separate cost, agreed with you before it’s purchased.

08

Feedback Expectation

Honest completion feedback is expected from every accepted business as part of this exchange — that’s the basis on which the build is offered free. A positive review is never required, and critical feedback is just as welcome as positive feedback.

09

Portfolio Showcase & Feedback

As part of the free website programme, participants agree that Takween Connect and Takween Digital Services may showcase their completed website, business name and project details across our websites, portfolios and promotional channels.

“Participants will also be asked to complete a short feedback form upon project completion. Honest feedback, whether positive or constructive, is always welcome.”

Agreement to these conditions is required to participate in the free website programme, helping us continue offering professional websites at no development cost.

10

Post-Launch Corrections

Before launch, clients will have the opportunity to review their completed website and request revisions within the agreed scope.

Once the website developed through Takween Connect has been approved for launch and is live, the project is considered complete.

Any subsequent changes, updates or additional features will be treated as separate work and may be quoted accordingly. Genuine defects in the original delivered work will be assessed separately.

11

Ongoing Maintenance Exclusion

This is a one-time build, not a maintenance plan. We don’t provide ongoing updates, backups, security monitoring or content changes after the close-out window unless separately agreed and quoted.

12

Future Work and Additional Functionality

Anything beyond the free starter scope — more pages, ecommerce, bookings, custom features, ongoing marketing, or continued support — is available as paid work, scoped and quoted transparently before anything begins. You’re never charged without seeing the price first.

13

Non-Response and Project-Delay Policy

If we’re unable to reach you, or don’t receive the content or feedback needed to continue, for an extended period, we may pause or close the project. We’ll always try to contact you first, and a paused project can usually be picked back up — but an indefinite delay may mean forfeiting your place in that month’s limited capacity (currently up to 5 Muslim-owned businesses).

14

Cancellation and Termination Conditions

Either side can withdraw from the project before launch, for any reason, with no cost or obligation to the business. If a business no longer qualifies for the programme — for example, misrepresenting eligibility, or being unresponsive per the policy above — we reserve the right to end the project early.

15

Website Delivery & Launch Timeline

Once your website has been completed, you will have the opportunity to review it and request revisions within the agreed project scope.

Following your final approval, we aim to make your website live within 7 days, provided all necessary domain, hosting, content and technical requirements have been completed.

The seven-day launch period does not include the initial application review, website development or revision stages. Timelines may vary where additional information, access or third-party assistance is required.
